Job Description

A senior HR professional is sought to serve as the HR Business Partner and Supervisor for Kurt J. Lesker Company, based onsite in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. This leadership role oversees payroll, benefits, and HR operations, guiding employee relations, compliance, and performance initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Payroll, Benefits, and HR administrative team
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory requirements across states where employees reside; serve as a key resource in administering and updating HR policies and procedures
  • Manage and support the Payroll and Benefits Specialist with a biweekly payroll schedule to ensure accuracy and timely completion, providing backup as needed
  • Manage and enhance our employee benefits offerings
  • Collaborate with employees and management to provide support, training, and guidance on payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance matters, while fostering a positive work culture
  • Drive process improvements within the HR department
  • Partner with management to administer and execute the performance management process, including continuous feedback discussions, goal setting, and the annual review process
  • Leverage meaningful business data and analytics to support decisions by generating, analyzing, and presenting HR metrics to leadership
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources
  • Experience processing or supervising a multi-state payroll
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and tax laws, HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS, and payroll systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Effective problem-solving skills to develop innovative HR solutions
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Minimal travel may be required

Preferred

  • Five or more years of experience in a HR Generalist, HR Supervisor, or similar role
  • Experience with ADP HRIS
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • HR or Payroll certification
  • Experience with implementation of HRIS systems and modules

Relocation

Jefferson Hills, PA 15025: Relocation before starting work is required.

Compensation

Salary: USD 1 - 1 per yearly
