Job Description

Human Resources Coordinator (onsite) supports day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee questions on company policies, procedures, benefits, attendance, payroll, and other HR topics.
  • Own and execute employee engagement activities, including recognition programs, associate events, and related communications.
  • Coordinate front office operations, including reception, phone coverage, mail, administrative support, project assistance, and meeting coordination.
  • Handle routine employee relations concerns and escalate more complex matters to the Senior HR Manager as appropriate.
  • Support the site’s recruitment and talent acquisition needs and related activities.
  • Review, validate, and submit employee hours, overtime, paid time off, and attendance corrections within established deadlines.
  • Resolve timekeeping discrepancies and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
  • Assist with employee investigations by gathering documentation and maintaining confidential records.
  • Support new hire onboarding and employee orientation.
  • Maintain a positive and responsive HR presence with employees and supervisors.
  • Provide administrative support including preparing HR reports, maintaining department metrics, badges creation, maintaining employee files, pre-employment processing, coordinating meetings, and collecting data.
  • Support workers’ compensation, leave administration, unemployment claims, and other assigned employee programs.
  • Maintain a customer service mindset with strong interfacing skills with vendors, associates, and management at multiple organizational levels.
  • Follow all work rules, including safety, health, and quality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files, electronic records, and HR documentation.
  • Manage employment verifications, employee status changes, and HR system updates.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources, Payroll, Employee Relations, or administrative experience (required).
  • Experience supporting employees in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehouse, or operations environment (preferred).
  • Experience using HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and data analytics skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HR administration, employee relations, payroll practices, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Understanding of wage and hour laws, attendance administration, and HR compliance principles.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with employees and management.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through and accountability.
