Job Description

Joining GardaWorld Security Services U.S. as a Human Resources Coordinator means supporting a high-volume security operation from an onsite location in Austin, TX. This role focuses on onboarding, employee records, training coordination, and HR compliance to keep a fast-paced workplace running smoothly. The position offers $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Engage candidates with a positive, professional demeanor and guide them through the application process.
  • Track candidate progress in the applicant tracking system, monitoring each stage and status.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks for conditional offers, including drug screens, fingerprinting, and background verifications.
  • Obtain CPR Instructor certification (Adult/Infant) to deliver in-person CPR training.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations and enroll employees in the Learning Management System.
  • Import new hires into WinTeam and perform necessary post-hire data maintenance.
  • Process uniform orders for staff.
  • Verify security licenses and support compliance reporting.
  • Produce and issue employee name badges.
  • Handle terminations and changes in employee status.
  • Monitor driver compliance requirements.
  • Maintain WinTeam data integrity, including all status changes.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, new hire orientation events, special programs, and recognition efforts.
  • Answer branch phones as needed.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma required; a college degree in human resources management or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company vehicle and insurance eligibility standards.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced human resources environment.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in both proprietary and mass-market systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in onboarding, employee documentation, background checks, benefits communication, and HR compliance reporting.
  • Maintains composure and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Provides excellent customer service to employees, applicants, and branch staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with staff.
  • Detail-oriented with accuracy in records, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Able to manage high-volume tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
