Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Detail oriented HR Generalist role supporting payroll, recruiting, and day to day HR operations for Vannguard Utility Partners, Inc in a hybrid role based in DeForest, WI, with a typical annual salary range of $75,000 to $90,000.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for each pay cycle
- Maintain payroll records and uphold compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate payroll reporting and audits to verify accuracy
- Administer benefits deductions and timekeeping systems
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues
- Oversee end to end recruitment processes from posting to placement
- Partner with hiring managers to meet staffing goals
- Maintain the applicant tracking system with current candidate data
- Schedule interviews and prepare or issue offer letters
- Support employer branding efforts to attract top talent
- Assist with onboarding for new hires and offboarding for departing staff
- Keep employee records and HRIS data accurate and up to date
- Support benefits programs and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Support performance management processes and related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience
- 3 to 5 years of HR experience with exposure to payroll and recruiting
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and HR practices
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paychex, or similar
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
