Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist will oversee day-to-day HR operations and provide support for recruitment, onboarding, interviewing, training, evaluations, and employee relations at U.S. Merchants in Litchfield Park, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations
  • Support recruiting efforts
  • Onboarding
  • Interviewing
  • Conducting training
  • Evaluations
  • Disciplinary forms
  • Off boarding
  • Administer HR policies
  • Maintain employee records
  • Manage employee relations
  • Maintain Worker's Comp protocols
  • Other office administrative duties
  • Other HR responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information or sensitive issues in a professional manner.
  • Strong familiarity with Federal and State payroll laws.
  • Understanding of Federal and State labor and employment regulations.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience.
  • Computer skills including Office, Excel; familiarity with payroll software is helpful; experience with other HR, benefits, or payroll software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Human Resources is a plus.
  • Human Resources: 3 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Office: 3 years (Required)
  • Spanish (Required)
