Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist will oversee day-to-day HR operations and provide support for recruitment, onboarding, interviewing, training, evaluations, and employee relations at U.S. Merchants in Litchfield Park, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations
- Support recruiting efforts
- Onboarding
- Interviewing
- Conducting training
- Evaluations
- Disciplinary forms
- Off boarding
- Administer HR policies
- Maintain employee records
- Manage employee relations
- Maintain Worker's Comp protocols
- Other office administrative duties
- Other HR responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information or sensitive issues in a professional manner.
- Strong familiarity with Federal and State payroll laws.
- Understanding of Federal and State labor and employment regulations.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Minimum 5 years HR experience.
- Computer skills including Office, Excel; familiarity with payroll software is helpful; experience with other HR, benefits, or payroll software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Human Resources is a plus.
