Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Falvey Linen Supply, a well-established provider of linen and related services, is seeking an on-site HR Generalist in Cranston, RI. The role centers on implementing HR programs, supporting recruitment and onboarding, developing policies, and maintaining accurate employee records to ensure smooth HR operations within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage compensation structures and benefits programs
- Support talent acquisition and recruitment activities
- Lead employee onboarding and assist with training and development planning
- Provide guidance to employees on HR topics such as leaves and compensation, and resolve issues
- Promote HR programs to foster an efficient, conflict-free workplace
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
- Support performance management processes and disciplinary documentation
- Collect and analyze HR data to generate meaningful metrics
- Maintain employee records in both electronic and paper formats
- Deliver safety trainings and participate in the Safety Committee
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Solid understanding of general HR policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws
- Proficient with MS Office
- Bilingual required; Spanish language proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset
- Degree in Human Resources
- Additional HR training is a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Compensation based on experience
- 3 years of HR experience preferred
