Job Description

Falvey Linen Supply, a well-established provider of linen and related services, is seeking an on-site HR Generalist in Cranston, RI. The role centers on implementing HR programs, supporting recruitment and onboarding, developing policies, and maintaining accurate employee records to ensure smooth HR operations within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage compensation structures and benefits programs
  • Support talent acquisition and recruitment activities
  • Lead employee onboarding and assist with training and development planning
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR topics such as leaves and compensation, and resolve issues
  • Promote HR programs to foster an efficient, conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies
  • Support performance management processes and disciplinary documentation
  • Collect and analyze HR data to generate meaningful metrics
  • Maintain employee records in both electronic and paper formats
  • Deliver safety trainings and participate in the Safety Committee

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Solid understanding of general HR policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Bilingual required; Spanish language proficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset
  • Degree in Human Resources
  • Additional HR training is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Compensation based on experience
  • 3 years of HR experience preferred
