Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Vuteq offers a stable onsite HR role at our Princeton, Indiana plant with a comprehensive benefits package and a schedule that supports work-life balance. This HR Generalist position focuses on employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and recruitment support, all conducted on site Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts tied to production needs. What you will do
- Respond to employee questions about policies, procedures, and benefits
- Investigate and resolve employee relations matters, including complaints and disciplinary actions directed by the HR Manager
- Process time and attendance data for payroll
- Develop KPI reports across multiple time frames to identify trends and propose improvements
- Audit and enter data for plant employees and their records
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures
- Assist with leave programs such as FMLA, USERRA, and workers’ compensation
- Coordinate job fairs and hiring events
- Contribute to recruitment efforts for full time and temporary workers, including interviews, offers, and credentialing
- Complete onboarding for new hires, including timekeeping and benefits enrollment
- Administer and manage developmental training programs
- Plan and execute company sponsored events and employee recognition initiatives
- Manage expense reporting and related activities
- Support site travel preparations
- Monitor and report on employee engagement through surveys and town halls
- Prepare and distribute HR communications and reports
- Support HR initiatives and projects as needed, including event planning
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in an HR role required
- Minimum of one year of experience with ADP or a payroll system strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (basic formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and location
- Salary: USD 52,000 per year
