Human Resources Generalist

As an HR Generalist with a focus on community partnerships, you will drive recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience initiatives while representing the company at events and in social channels.

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (onsite). Travel: up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from posting roles and screening applicants to scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate communication.
• Coordinate and deliver new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth, welcoming start for every employee.
• Represent the company at job fairs, community events, career fairs, networking opportunities, and workforce development events.
• Build partnerships with local schools, colleges, military transition programs, workforce agencies, and community organizations to attract qualified candidates.
• Serve as an ambassador for E Noa by promoting our culture, mission, and career opportunities within the community and on social media.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug testing, and license verification.
• Maintain applicant and employee records in ADP and ensure onboarding documentation is completed accurately.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, company events, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Support additional HR projects and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years of experience in recruiting, human resources, hospitality, customer service, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or another HRIS is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking to groups and representing the company at public events.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Positive, outgoing, and passionate about delivering an outstanding candidate and employee experience.
• Travel willingness: 50% of the time is required.
