Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Spectrum is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Mililani Town, HI to deliver comprehensive HR support for a client group in an onsite setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer Spectrum HR policies consistently and communicate policy or procedure updates across assigned areas
- Advise and counsel employees on workplace conflicts, performance concerns, and dispute resolution
- Manage employee relations efforts, including supporting investigations as needed
- Oversee leave of absence programs; coordinate accommodations
- Support safety and workers’ compensation processes
- Lead benefits enrollment meetings for relevant audiences
- Train employees and supervisors on HR policies, benefits, and prevention topics
- Maintain accurate HRIS and payroll entries for the client group
- Conduct HRIS/payroll audits and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
- Support bonus plan and merit processes, including related reporting
- Participate in annual budget planning and HR committee initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, related field, or equivalent
- 2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect at all levels
- Professional handling of confidential information and public interactions
- Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and work well under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and demonstrate initiative
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and wage and hour regulations
- Understanding of staffing, employment practices, and employee relations procedures
- Consultative, coaching, and analytical skills
- Professional HR certifications such as PHR or SPHR
- Knowledge of telecommunications products and services
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
