Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
The HR Generalist provides hands-on HR support to Pentagon Technologies’ Technical Services Group (TSG), partnering with leadership and employees across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, HR administration, compliance, and engagement. This is an onsite role in Chandler, AZ, with some travel expected (up to 25%).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day HR support to TSG leaders, supervisors, and employees.
- Support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance-related issues.
- Assist with performance reviews, employee development, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Provide support for benefits, HR policies, and employee questions.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR information systems.
- Support compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Address employees and workplace concerns in a timely manner.
- Provide HR support across TSG offices, project sites, and field operations.
- Partner with Corporate HR, Operations, Finance, and Safety on HR needs.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, documentation, and process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification.
- Experience supporting multi-site, field, or project-based teams.
- Experience in technical services, construction, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, or similar environments.
- Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
Compensation
USD 65,000 - 74,200 per year.
