Human Resources Manager
Job Description
Hybrid Human Resources Manager role in a fast paced manufacturing environment, partnering with leadership to shape culture, leadership capability, and employee engagement, based in a Belton, TX area.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end employee engagement program, coordinating biannual surveys and translating insights into action through high-impact initiatives that foster connection, recognition, belonging, and an inclusive, value-driven culture.
- Drive leadership and employee development by designing and delivering coaching, training, and growth initiatives that build capability, accountability, and clear career progression across all levels.
- Coach and equip managers to address performance and employee relations matters through constructive feedback, clear communication, and effective conflict resolution to promote accountability and growth.
- Manage the annual performance cycle with department leaders to create individual coaching plans for salaried staff, ensuring open, honest, and action-oriented feedback to drive growth and performance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with company goals and compliance requirements.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
- Administer benefits programs including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and workers’ compensation.
- Continuously assess and adjust compensation programs by tracking market trends, conducting salary surveys, and maintaining competitive pay structures for all roles.
- Maintain HRIS and personnel records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
- Coordinate safety and training programs in partnership with the Safety Manager and department heads.
- Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to address questions, concerns, and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust at all levels.
- Proactive, organized, and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom, Paylocity, ADP, or similar) and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
