Job Description

Itoh Denki USA, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead people operations in a hands-on, onsite role based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This position focuses on shaping a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace by guiding talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and adherence to employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and a positive workplace culture.
  • Attract new talent, conduct interviews, and oversee onboarding processes.
  • Administer benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, retirement plans, and leave policies in compliance with FMLA and OSHA.
  • Ensure legal compliance on employment and labor law updates.
  • Manage contracts, policies, and update the company handbook accordingly.
  • Back up for payroll processing using ADP to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, HR program management, and change management initiatives to foster continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as provided.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and workers' compensation procedures.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition strategies including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Familiarity with Kronos for accurate compensation processing.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance standards across multiple states.
  • Other duties as provided.
  • Must be present in the office. Not a remote position.

Compensation

Salary: USD 65,000 - 70,000 per year
