Human Resources Manager
Job Description
Strategic HR leader focused on aligning talent strategy with field operations across multiple sites in Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, organizational design, and leadership development to enhance business performance.
- HR operations and process improvement: design and refine HR processes, SOPs, policies, and programs to strengthen accountability and consistency across the organization.
- Compliance and workforce analytics: ensure compliance with employment laws while leveraging HRIS reporting, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights to leaders.
- Multi-site operational support: deliver daily HR guidance to managers and employees across several locations with strong visibility and responsiveness.
- Root cause analysis and conflict resolution: oversee complex employee relations investigations, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement sustainable retention and engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR leadership role.
- Industry background: proven experience supporting operational, field-based, industrial, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or similar workforce environments.
- Core technical knowledge: strong expertise in employee relations, leadership coaching, HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and building HR programs from the ground up.

Compensation
USD 140,000 - 175,000 per year

The role bridges high level talent strategy with on-site execution, emphasizing employee relations, leadership coaching, and compliance.
Work environment and safety
Plant and field based leadership role in a fast paced, operational setting. Travel to regional operational locations is required, with occasional after hours availability for urgent employee matters.
