Job Description

Onsite HR Manager role in Norway, MI overseeing employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, staffing, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll end to end, including data entry, timecard validation, balancing, and maintaining accurate staff payroll records.
  • Assist with administering the company benefit programs and enrollment processes.
  • Lead new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Address employee requests related to HR issues, policies, and regulations.
  • Maintain both electronic and paper employee records with careful attention to detail.
  • Support recruitment by advertising roles, identifying candidates, and conducting pre-employment reference and background checks.
  • Coordinate scheduling for interviews and meetings with prospective hires.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and organizational capabilities in daily HR tasks.
  • Maintain high attention to detail across all duties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a background screening and drug test.
  • Basic math proficiency and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Compensation

  • Salary range of USD 50,000 to 80,000 per year.

Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in a Human Resources function is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
