Human Resources Manager
Job Description
Onsite HR Manager role in Norway, MI overseeing employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, staffing, and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll end to end, including data entry, timecard validation, balancing, and maintaining accurate staff payroll records.
- Assist with administering the company benefit programs and enrollment processes.
- Lead new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
- Address employee requests related to HR issues, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain both electronic and paper employee records with careful attention to detail.
- Support recruitment by advertising roles, identifying candidates, and conducting pre-employment reference and background checks.
- Coordinate scheduling for interviews and meetings with prospective hires.
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational capabilities in daily HR tasks.
- Maintain high attention to detail across all duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background screening and drug test.
- Basic math proficiency and computer skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Compensation
- Salary range of USD 50,000 to 80,000 per year.

Education and Experience
- Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Experience in a Human Resources function is preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background screening and drug screening.
- Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
