Human Resources Manager
Job Description
The on site HR leader will oversee all human resources functions for the Martinsburg, PA operation, coordinating recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and compliance while partnering with management to drive employee development.
Responsibilities
- Offer HR expertise to all management levels and staff.
- Consult with staff and managers to identify root causes of issues and resolve them through a structured, analytical process, including investigations.
- Recommend measures to minimize potential employment liability.
- Collaborate with the management team to assess people needs and issues, then design and implement appropriate action plans.
- Oversee recruitment and hiring to meet staffing needs for both non-exempt and exempt positions.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage recruitment and onboarding activities, including internal and external job postings.
- Coordinate headcount planning with supervisors.
- Screen applications and arrange interviews and plant tours.
- Create and implement onboarding and orientation programs for all new hires.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Design and deliver training for employees at all levels, covering business processes, policies, and compliance.
- Evaluate employee programs, recommend improvements to employee relations policies, and ensure policies align with regulations.
- Administer HR programs and policies in accordance with EEO, ADA, FMLA, and related laws at federal, state, and local levels.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the location's overall performance and propose changes.
- Review time and payroll data from time sheets and reconcile using the ADP payroll system.
- Verify attendance and hours worked, process pay adjustments, and post updates in the ADP system.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
