Job Description

Restoration Health Center is seeking a detail-focused Human Resources & Operations Coordinator to support both the employee lifecycle and day-to-day office operations on site in Madera, CA. In this role, you will help maintain HR compliance, coordinate training and performance-related activities, and provide employees with a trusted, confidential point of contact.

This position blends people operations with administrative and light bookkeeping support, ensuring that records stay organized, policies are up to date, and workflows run efficiently across the organization.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Post job openings, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and assist with hiring.
  • Support employee scheduling and staffing needs.
  • Maintain complete and confidential employee personnel files.
  • Track attendance, paid time off, leaves of absence, and other HR records.
  • Coordinate required employee training and maintain training documentation.
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and HR-related concerns.
  • Assist with employee relations issues in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Coordinate employee performance evaluations.
  • Prepare documentation for coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Review, update, and maintain the employee handbook and company policies, and help ensure policies are applied fairly and consistently.
  • Perform light bookkeeping, including processing and paying company bills.
  • Maintain organized administrative records and support leadership with special projects and operational initiatives.
  • Support day-to-day office operations to help ensure efficient workflow.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of Human Resources, Office Management, or Administrative experience (preferred).
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with payroll, HRIS, or bookkeeping software is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

  • Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

  • Work experience focus: Human Resources: 3 years (preferred)
