Job Description

The Human Resources (HR) Representative supports daily people operations by acting as a direct liaison between internal managers and employees and the Professional Employer Organization (PEO). This onsite role helps maintain compliant, efficient HR processes, with a focus on communication, confidentiality, and coordination across recruiting, onboarding, and HR documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and maintain a strong working relationship with the PEO Account Manager.
  • Validate and transmit payroll, benefits, and other HR-related documents to the PEO.
  • Post and refresh job listings as needed.
  • Screen resumes and support candidate evaluation, including scheduling in-person interviews with hiring managers.
  • Support onboarding activities, including coordinating paperwork, facilitating background checks, and providing communication leading up to the first day.
  • Maintain confidential employee files and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain HR-related reports and provide general HR-related support to managers and employees.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple open tasks and timelines without requiring follow-up.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative support is preferred.
  • Reliable, consistent execution with strong follow-through and ownership of assigned work.
  • Service-oriented mindset for employees and managers.
  • Practical, common-sense problem solving.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment within a small team.
