Responsibilities

  • Execute community payroll operations in alignment with company policies and applicable laws, supervised by the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant
  • Oversee employee relations, benefits, compensation, leave of absence, and workers' compensation matters
  • Lead recruitment activities, including prescreening, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation
  • Handle terminations and participate in unemployment claims
  • Foster positive employee relations and support organizational goals

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for working with seniors
  • Flexible, upbeat, and energetic personality
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of healthcare field experience is highly preferred
  • One year of payroll and HR experience in a LTC, SNF, AL, or MC setting is highly preferred
  • Up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
  • Strong organization and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Solid understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll systems
  • Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
