Job Description

The People Operations Specialist at Fraport USA Inc will oversee daily HR operations, full-cycle recruiting, payroll processing, and general administrative duties to maintain compliance and foster a positive employee experience. This position balances HR, payroll, and administrative responsibilities on a hands-on basis.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary resource for employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting roles, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
  • Assist with performance review cycles, employee relations matters, and documenting corrective actions.
  • Organize training programs, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Process biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain payroll records, timekeeping data, and records of pay changes; conduct regular audits for accuracy.
  • Manage payroll adjustments, garnishments, bonuses, and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with Finance on payroll reporting, tax filings, and year-end tasks such as W-2s and 1099s.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee payroll questions.
  • Oversee all company travel arrangements.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, and service contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of HR experience, including payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, and Paylocity.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay

Annual compensation ranges from $50,000.00 to $150,000.00 USD.
