People Operations Specialist
Job Description
The People Operations Specialist at Fraport USA Inc will oversee daily HR operations, full-cycle recruiting, payroll processing, and general administrative duties to maintain compliance and foster a positive employee experience. This position balances HR, payroll, and administrative responsibilities on a hands-on basis.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary resource for employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting roles, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
- Assist with performance review cycles, employee relations matters, and documenting corrective actions.
- Organize training programs, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement efforts.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Process biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain payroll records, timekeeping data, and records of pay changes; conduct regular audits for accuracy.
- Manage payroll adjustments, garnishments, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- Collaborate with Finance on payroll reporting, tax filings, and year-end tasks such as W-2s and 1099s.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee payroll questions.
- Oversee all company travel arrangements.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of HR experience, including payroll processing.
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, and Paylocity.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay
