Job Description

Onsite role in Irving, Texas, responsible for end-to-end physician and advanced practice provider recruitment across multiple ministries and specialties, working autonomously to drive complex searches and shape CHRISTUS Health's physician recruitment strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to OneCHRISTUS leadership competencies, modeling self-leadership and leadership of others as applicable.
  • Manages the full recruitment lifecycle for designated physician and advanced practice provider specialties, including complex and hard-to-fill roles, with minimal supervision.
  • Acts as the primary recruitment partner to ministry leadership by delivering market intelligence, developing sourcing strategies, and leading executive recruitment update meetings through proactive communication.
  • Leads recruitment efforts for new clinics, service lines, and expansion initiatives by assessing staffing needs, crafting recruitment strategies, and executing plans with limited oversight.
  • Creates and implements specialty-focused sourcing plans to identify and engage highly qualified physician and APP candidates.
  • Facilitates intake meetings, coordinates candidate interviews and site visits, and delivers a superior candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Cultivates long-term relationships with physicians, residency and fellowship programs, training institutions, professional organizations, and industry partners to sustain candidate pipelines.
  • Collaborates with the compensation team to prepare offer recommendations and supports negotiation of letters of intent and employment agreements.
  • Conducts market research to identify recruitment trends, competitive intelligence, compensation benchmarks, and workforce planning opportunities.
  • Uses recruitment metrics and data to evaluate pipeline performance and provide actionable updates to leadership.
  • Represents CHRISTUS Health at specialty conferences, residency and fellowship events, career fairs, and other recruitment activities to strengthen pipelines.
  • Promotes CHRISTUS Health as an employer brand by communicating the organization's mission, culture, and physician value proposition.
  • Identifies workflow gaps and proactively recommends process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency, candidate experience, and operations.
  • Maintains accurate recruitment documentation, applicant tracking records, sourcing activity, and recruitment dashboards.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert by training, mentoring, and supporting incoming recruiters while promoting consistency and best practices across the team.
  • Ensures consistent, professional, and timely communication with candidates, hiring leaders, and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Travel up to 40 percent across multiple states, as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, required.
