Recruiter

Contract role with full-cycle recruiting exposure in Smithfield, VA. LSI Staffing is hiring an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist on a 3–4 month temporary contract (with potential for a longer-term opportunity). The position offers an hourly rate of $21–$23 and a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in an onsite setting.

What you’ll do

You will support recruiting from start to finish, helping qualified candidates move through the hiring process efficiently and professionally. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage recruiting activities from sourcing through hire
• Source and screen candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing staffing needs
• Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to align recruiting efforts with demand
• Provide timely communication to candidates and support a positive candidate experience
• Maintain accurate applicant records and track recruiting metrics
• Support process improvements and assist with compliance requirements

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
• Recruiting or talent acquisition experience
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel to other locations approximately 25% of the time

Schedule, location, and pay

• Location: Smithfield, VA (onsite)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay: $21–$23 per hour
• Assignment: 3–4 month temporary contract, potential for longer-term opportunity
