Recruiter

LSI Staffing is seeking a Recruiter to support full-cycle talent acquisition in Smithfield, VA. This 3–4 month temporary contract focuses on sourcing, screening, and coordinating hiring while helping ensure a smooth, professional candidate experience.

The Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist role includes managing the recruiting workflow from first contact through hire, partnering with hiring managers and HR teams, and tracking recruiting activity using established systems and metrics.

Role Overview

• Support full-cycle recruiting activities from sourcing through hire.
• Source and screen qualified candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing staffing needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to align recruiting efforts with open roles.
• Provide timely communication and maintain a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate applicant records and recruiting metrics.
• Assist with recruiting process improvements and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education/experience).
• Recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to other locations approximately 25% of the time.

Schedule and Location

• Location: Smithfield, VA (onsite).
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Contract Details and Pay

• Job type: contract
• Assignment: 3–4 month temporary contract with potential for longer-term opportunity.
• Compensation: USD 21–23 per hour.
