Job Description

Xcel Energy is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to lead full lifecycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level roles, weaving the company brand and its Diversity & Inclusion goals into every step. This onsite role in Denver, Colorado emphasizes strategic sourcing, deep business partnerships, and a data-driven approach to talent acquisition. The position offers a salary range of USD 64,100 to 90,966 per year, aligned with experience and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: build diverse talent pipelines, engage passive and active candidates across multiple channels, and nurture long-term relationships with external audiences and internal stakeholders.
  • Business Relationships: develop strong business acumen, forge deep connections with functional areas, and provide consultative guidance on talent needs and market dynamics.
  • Recruitment Strategy: design and implement recruiting plans, leveraging data and analytics to measure success and adjust tactics for productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Recruitment: own full life cycle recruiting for entry, mid, and senior level roles; collaborate with stakeholders, define sourcing tactics and timelines, and ensure a seamless flow of service to internal and external customers.
  • Continuous Improvement: partner with stakeholders to establish best practices, support TA education and process knowledge, and coordinate TA programs along with other assigned duties.
  • Analytics: apply data tools and metrics to improve candidate and hiring leader experiences, service standards, and personal performance, adjusting tactics to optimize efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 3–5 years of full cycle recruitment experience, including direct sourcing and corporate recruitment, with a track record of partnering with business leaders to define talent needs.
  • Ability to travel occasionally and commute to events and company locations as needed.
  • Experience developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies, including diverse talent pools.
  • Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Knowledge of EEO and Affirmative Action, as well as employment law.
  • Understanding of TA metrics and their influence on each stage of the recruiting funnel.

Preferred Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience on the Xcel Energy Talent Acquisition team.
