Job Description
The Recruiter II, Talent Acquisition role at Homes for Independent Living of Wisconsin LLC focuses on sourcing and hiring Direct Support Professionals, Direct Support Supervisors, and other essential roles, guiding candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle in a hybrid setting based in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative, effective recruitment strategies using a broad range of sourcing resources.
- Respond quickly to changing hiring needs by adjusting strategies and steps to fill positions.
- Actively engage job boards, job fairs, open houses, networking, advertising, and outreach activities to attract talent and enhance branding.
- Screen applicants and determine appropriate next steps based on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and position requirements.
- Conduct applicant interviews, coordinate scheduling of top candidates with the hiring manager, and track progress through the recruitment process.
- Communicate effectively with regional teams regarding candidates, openings, and strategies.
- Develop and maintain a proactive pipeline of talent.
- Communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality.
- Maintain awareness of current trends in recruiting and related areas.
- Must be willing to work in office 2-3 days per week and travel to events as needed.
Requirements
- Two years of recruitment experience.
- College degree strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly effective communicator in both verbal and written form.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimal direction.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license for at least three years with an acceptable driving record per company policy; maintains insurance on a personal vehicle.
