Christus Health seeks an experienced Physician Recruiter II to oversee full-cycle recruitment for physicians and advanced practice providers across multiple ministries and specialties in Irving, TX. The role operates with heightened independence, handling complex searches, advanced sourcing strategies, and high-level partnerships with ministry leadership.
Summary
The Physician Recruiter II is an experienced recruiting professional responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers across various ministries and specialties. The position emphasizes autonomy in tackling complex or hard-to-fill roles, leveraging advanced sourcing approaches, and collaborating closely with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Aligns with the applicable OneCHRISTUS competencies, including self leadership, leadership of others, or leadership of leaders.
- Independently manages the full recruitment lifecycle for designated physician and provider specialties, focusing on complex or hard-to-fill openings.
- Serves as the primary recruitment partner to ministry leadership, delivering market intelligence, guiding recruitment planning, and leading executive-level recruitment updates with proactive communication.
- Demonstrates the experience and judgment to staff new or newly launched clinics, assesses staffing needs, develops recruitment plans, and hires providers with minimal oversight.
- Develops and executes advanced, specialty-specific sourcing strategies; conducts intake meetings to align recruitment with ministry goals and market dynamics; manages interviews and site visits to ensure a high-quality, end-to-end candidate experience.
- Partners with the compensation team to review and prepare offer materials; supports negotiation of letters of intent and employment agreements.
- Performs market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and compensation data to support strategic workforce planning.
- Represent CHRISTUS Health at specialty conferences, residency events, job fairs, and similar recruitment activities to build strong talent pipelines.
- Acts as an employer brand ambassador, delivering compelling messaging to increase candidate engagement.
- Identifies workflow gaps and proactively supports process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation, recruitment dashboards, and sourcing activity logs.
- Functions as a subject matter expert, training and supporting incoming recruiters to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
- Maintains professional and timely communication with candidates as a high-touch point of contact.
- Willingness to travel up to 40 percent across multiple states if needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
