Recruiting Coordinator
Job Description
The Recruiting Coordinator supports CHSI in recruiting, evaluating candidates, advising managers, and managing relocations and intern programs.
Compensation: USD 34 - 44 per hour
Responsibilities
- Uphold and support CHSI's philosophies, objectives, and policies.
- Define hiring requirements by reviewing organizational plans and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Assess candidates by interviewing, evaluating responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job specs.
- Evaluate applicants by aligning job requirements with candidate qualifications and conducting interviews on a consistent set of criteria with managers.
- Oversee mid level and Physician intern/residency programs: conduct orientations, schedule rotations and assignments, monitor intern contributions, coach interns, and advise managers on training.
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay aligned with current and future hiring and business needs.
- Source applicants by posting openings, contacting recruiters, and using job sites and news groups.
- Stay current in the field by pursuing educational opportunities, reading professional publications, expanding networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Coordinate management interviews: arrange schedules, travel, lodging, and meals; escort candidates to interviews; arrange community tours.
- Reduce legal risk by understanding relevant legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, proposing new procedures, and providing training.
- Expand applicant sources by engaging community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and online sites; share organization information, opportunities, and benefits; deliver presentations; maintain rapport.
- Clarify applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications.
- Maintain accurate records of candidates, including resumes, applications, and background checks.
- Organize and manage physical and digital recruitment files for easy access.
- Coordinate background checks to ensure timely completion and compliance with company standards.
- Enhance organizational attractiveness by recommending policies and practices, reviewing offers and compensation, and highlighting benefits.
- Perform other duties as directed, verbally or in writing.
