Recruiting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding for HVAC, Plumbing, Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Leadership roles.
• Develop and maintain recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
• Write and manage job postings across multiple platforms, including Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Paychex Flex, social media, trade schools, and military transition programs.
• Source active and passive candidates for the listed positions.
• Conduct phone screens and initial candidate evaluations.
• Schedule and coordinate virtual and in person interviews.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Attend job fairs, networking events, and recruiting functions as needed.
• Promote and clearly communicate the benefits of working at Semper Fi Heating & Cooling.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or onboarding experience
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, home services, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar industries strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment processes
• Experience with I-9 compliance and E-Verify requirements
• Experience using Paychex Flex or similar HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple openings and deadlines simultaneously
• Professional, confident, and persuasive communication style
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and recruiting platforms
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
