Sales Recruiter
Job Description
Reliable Transportation Solutions is hiring a Sales Recruiter to help build strong hiring pipelines for high-volume sales teams at our Cincinnati, OH onsite location. You will play a central role in connecting candidates to roles while supporting sales and HR leaders with recruiting metrics and process improvements. Alongside meaningful work, the role includes a benefits package with health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k, plus paid time off and holiday pay.
What you’ll do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for high-volume sales positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and pipeline management.
- Proactively identify and engage active and passive sales candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, referrals, networking, job fairs, colleges, and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of entry-level and experienced sales professionals.
- Conduct outbound recruiting calls and develop creative strategies to attract candidates who may not be applying.
- Assess sales competencies such as competitiveness, resilience, communication, motivation, coachability, and comfort with prospecting.
- Partner with the HR Manager and sales leadership to align on hiring goals, candidate profiles, workforce needs, and recruiting priorities.
- Manage multiple open roles and candidates while maintaining timely, consistent follow-up.
- Track recruiting activity and results, including candidate sources, pipeline conversion rates, interviews, offers, acceptances, time-to-fill, and quality of hire.
- Maintain accurate and compliant candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Coordinate job postings, candidate communications, interviews, employment offers, and pre-employment requirements.
- Attend career fairs, networking events, and community or college recruiting events.
- Deliver a professional, engaging, responsive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with offer letters, employment documentation, and the transition from candidate acceptance to onboarding.
- Recommend improvements to job postings, sourcing methods, interview processes, and recruiting strategies based on hiring outcomes.
What you bring
- At least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including direct experience recruiting for sales positions.
- Proven success sourcing and engaging passive sales candidates.
- Experience supporting high-volume or ongoing hiring needs.
- Ability to conduct candidate outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networking.
- Strong ability to manage multiple open positions, pipelines, and hiring priorities at the same time.
- Strong interviewing skills to evaluate sales aptitude, motivation, communication, and culture fit.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, responsive, and comfortable working toward measurable recruiting goals.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-growing, changing organization.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience recruiting entry-level, inside sales, business development, freight brokerage, staffing, or other outbound sales professionals.
- Experience recruiting within transportation, logistics, staffing, or a similar high-volume sales environment.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
- Experience with college recruiting, career fairs, referral programs, and community partnerships.
