Sales Recruiting and Training Manager

Colonial Life is seeking an independent, onsite Agency Development Manager in Baton Rouge, LA to build and support an independent insurance sales team. This contract opportunity combines recruiting, training, and hands-on leadership, with earnings tied to sales performance and ongoing professional development.

What you’ll do

• Recruit and train new sales representatives to support agency growth
• Assist with interviews and help onboard new agents through training
• Coach agents on prospecting and presentation skills
• Support new sales representatives in working toward sales goals
• Use technology and tools to support prospecting, client acquisition, and ongoing account management
• Lead and participate in onboarding activities for newly recruited agents

What you bring

• B2B sales experience
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead sales teams
• Insurance sales background with a Life & Accident/Health Insurance License, or willingness to obtain one
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work independently while inspiring teams

Compensation details

USD 75,000 - 105,000 per year is listed for this contract opportunity. Compensation includes the potential for competitive commissions based on sales results, including renewal income, bonuses, and world-class trips.
