Job Description
Join The Home Depot in Atlanta as a Senior Recruiter, onsite, where you will help shape enterprise wide talent acquisition strategies. Working closely with HR Leaders and Talent Acquisition leadership, you will develop innovative recruitment plans, build a strong external talent bench, and steer full lifecycle hiring for assigned areas to meet enterprise staffing objectives.
Responsibilities
- Leverage strategic planning data to implement a function specific talent acquisition plan, gathering industry insights and competitive market data to inform staffing decisions and potential plan adjustments.
- Conduct full lifecycle recruiting with a clear emphasis on diversity, contributing to screening criteria, executing screening and interviewing, and negotiating salaries.
- Maintain proactive communication with business partners to perform all talent acquisition functions and address any gaps to ensure staffing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Execute recruitment plans to achieve staffing metrics such as candidate quality and throughput, delivering status reports on open requisitions and candidate flow.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders to meet talent acquisition goals, collaborating to identify and resolve issues.
- Create individualized sourcing strategies for functional areas, employing approaches like cold outreach, networking, and engagement with passive candidates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies, maintaining appropriate recordkeeping and adherence to established sourcing, recruiting, and selection procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
- High school diploma and/or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 plus years of corporate Talent Acquisition experience, ideally in technical recruiting.
- Expert knowledge of internet search tools and effective sourcing strategies, with a track record of recruiting across diverse channels.
- Experience designing and executing a broad range of recruiting initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is commonly expected.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Corporate recruitment experience for a retailer in areas such as IT, HR, Legal, Merchandising, etc. is preferred.

- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain a robust candidate pool and negotiate effectively.
- Creativity and innovation in recruitment, with insight into candidate traits, demographics, and talent management inputs.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO and OFCCP compliance across federal, state, and local levels.
- Senior level leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills to serve as a staffing expert and internal advisor.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while achieving staffing targets.
- Experience administering behavioral interviews, with a minimum of three years in this area.
Travel, Physical and Working Conditions
- Travel typically 5% to 20% overnight.
- Most time spent seated; occasional movement required with light lifting on rare occasions.
- Located in a comfortable indoor environment; any adverse conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.
