Senior Recruiter in Talent Acquisition at AbbVie, onsite in North Chicago, IL, responsible for attracting top talent, managing requisitions and pipelines, partnering with hiring managers, and ensuring compliance using SmartRecruiters.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment focused on a designated team or function, with flexibility for other areas as assigned.
• Attract top talent and build a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
• Pre-screen candidates, manage projects, collaborate to develop sourcing strategies, and provide talent for open roles.
• Proactively identify, source, and manage talent pools aligned to business priorities.
• Oversee open job requisitions, maintain SmartRecruiters, achieve recruiting metrics, and report key accomplishments; compile knowledge base, industry overviews, market trends, data, and analytics for team members and leaders.
• Prepare and approve offer packages, incorporating equity and market competitiveness data research.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and AbbVie policies for applicant tracking and reporting metrics.
• Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on staffing activities and related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5+ years of recruitment experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment required; 7+ years preferred.
• Strong business presence with the ability to instill confidence in clients and deliver results.
• Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience required.
• Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry recruitment experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters preferred.
