Job Description
BNY Mellon, based in Pittsburgh, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition Lateral Recruiter to lead a US-based team of recruiting coordinators and oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding within the People Team. This onsite role focuses on coordinating interview logistics, crafting candidate communications, and guiding new hires through a seamless transition as part of the firm’s talent strategy.
Responsibilities
- Direct a US-based group of recruiting coordinators responsible for interview scheduling, offer generation, and managing the new hire lifecycle.
- Facilitate end-to-end recruitment operations, including interview logistics, candidate communications, requisition tracking, and maintaining accurate data in recruiting systems.
- Evaluate current processes with a view toward continuous improvement.
- Resolve issues and collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, executive assistants, agencies, and other People Team colleagues to ensure a streamlined hiring process.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires, covering pre-hire coordination, documentation tracking, orientation preparation, and a positive transition into the firm.
- Handle sensitive candidate and employee information with discretion, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail, especially in support of executive hiring activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, talent acquisition support, or a related People Team/administrative function.
- Proven time management skills with strong organizational abilities and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and discretion, with preferred experience supporting senior stakeholders or handling confidential information.
