Join STSI as a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter in an onsite role based in Huntersville, NC. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $38-$43, a standard benefits package including medical, dental coverage and 401(k), and the opportunity to contribute to engineering recruitment across nuclear power projects. The role supports internal partners at the job site and offers exposure to project-based hiring in a dynamic environment. On-site locations include Charlotte, NC and Stonington, CT.

Responsibilities

• Sources, screens, and performs preliminary interviews on potential candidates.
• Coordinates site interviews with the appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law.
• Manages assigned employment requisitions, including reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisitions.
• Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other databases.
• Assists in building and managing Employment Staffing Plans by entering information related to employment and hiring requirements.
• Builds and updates job descriptions based on project scope of work.
• Coordinates and conducts redeployment initiatives with proactive communication to employees prior to anticipated end dates.
• Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hire process, including background checks, drug screening, health screening, I-9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, and site-specific requirements.
• Serves as a point of contact for portions of the employment process for internal partners at the job site, acting as lead for processing or portion of recruiting efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with recent experience hiring engineering professionals within the nuclear power industry.
• Direct experience recruiting for I&C, electrical, mechanical, and civil/structural engineering, focusing on plant modifications, design engineering, and system upgrades.
• Proven ability to evaluate candidates against nuclear-specific requirements, including experience supporting design packages, field walkdowns, system ownership, and familiarity with NRC regulations and nuclear plant operations.
• Experience recruiting for digital controls, legacy system upgrades, and instrumentation/control systems is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting project-based hiring where schedules, mobilization dates, site needs, and technical depth are critical.
• Ability to work independently as the sole engineering recruiter supporting business leaders and hiring managers.
• Strong sourcing experience with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates through multiple channels.
• High sense of urgency with strong follow-up, responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn ATS systems quickly.
