Job Description

McElroy Truck Lines is seeking a results-oriented Social Media Transportation Recruiter to attract, engage, and hire transportation professionals through social media and digital recruiting strategies. This onsite role in Cuba, Alabama focuses on sourcing candidates for truck drivers, dispatchers, logistics coordinators, fleet managers, and warehouse personnel. A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of relevant experience are required, with a yearly compensation range of $50,000 to $70,000.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and run social media recruitment campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and industry-specific forums.
  • Source, screen, and engage transportation professionals for open positions.
  • Create compelling job advertisements, videos, graphics, and recruitment content to attract candidates.
  • Manage company recruiting pages and maintain a strong employer brand online.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for driver, logistics, and transportation-related roles.
  • Respond promptly to candidate inquiries through social media, messaging platforms, and email.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
  • Track recruitment metrics, including applicant flow, engagement rates, and hiring outcomes.
  • Attend virtual and in-person job fairs, transportation industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company hiring policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or social media marketing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and recruitment advertising tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple hiring campaigns simultaneously.
