Job Description
Valcourt Building Services L C is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Coordinator to provide advanced administrative and operational support across HR functions from our on-site location in The Woodlands, TX. This role serves as a liaison among employees, managers, and HR leadership, handling onboarding, HRIS management, compliance, and day-to-day employee support.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain and audit employee records within HRIS systems.
- Track HR metrics and generate regular reporting.
- Assist in maintaining standard operating procedures for core HR processes.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, including offer letters, background checks, and orientation scheduling.
- Update onboarding templates and ensure state-required new hire documents are current.
- Ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for new hires.
- Oversee offboarding activities, including exit interviews, documentation, and required notices.
- Analyze exit interview feedback to identify trends and provide insights to HR leadership.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Escalate complex issues to HR Business Partners or leadership as needed.
- Support employee relations documentation and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Administer and audit Form I-9 processes, including E-Verify where applicable, ensuring proper completion, re-verification, and retention.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting.
- Support benefits enrollment and changes.
- Coordinate and track leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, short-term disability, and state leave programs.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, eligibility tracking, and communication throughout the leave process.
- Identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and propose scalable improvements to enhance accuracy, compliance, and the employee experience.
- Support HR initiatives such as performance management cycles, engagement surveys, and training programs.
- Assist with the implementation of new HR systems or tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of HR coordination or generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and foundational employment law.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Paycom, Workday, ADP, or BambooHR.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
