Job Description

Abbott Laboratories offers a leadership opportunity in Columbus, Ohio, to guide Talent Acquisition for the US Supply Chain. As the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead a matrixed team, partner with senior stakeholders, and drive data driven hiring for leadership and hard to fill roles. This on site role provides clear career development within a globally respected company, a competitive salary range of USD 129,300 to 258,700 per year, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your growth and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals across a matrixed environment, supporting Abbott Nutrition's US Supply Chain.
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders from Director through DVP level to translate business needs into high impact hiring strategies and outcomes.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment for leadership and hard-to-fill roles, ensuring high quality hires and an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Design and execute best in class recruitment and selection practices, including innovative sourcing strategies, direct sourcing pipelines, employer branding campaigns, and cost effective recruiting channels.
  • Leverage data, metrics, and market insights to inform strategy, improve team performance, and influence stakeholders.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives, including workforce expansion efforts, cross functional projects, and global programs.
  • Build and manage external partnerships with academic institutions, diversity organizations, and early career programs to support talent pipelines.
  • Cultivate a high performance, inclusive team culture through coaching, development, and effective people leadership.
  • Drive change management initiatives and continuously improve TA capabilities across processes, technology, and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including at least 3 years in an in house, matrixed environment and 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven experience leading full cycle recruitment across functions such as commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate roles.
  • Demonstrated success hiring for senior level roles.
  • Strong leadership experience managing both individual contributors and managers in a global or matrix environment.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leaders using data, market insights, and talent expertise.
  • Experience developing and executing direct sourcing strategies and talent marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills with the ability to use metrics to drive decisions and performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver results in a fast paced environment.
