Job Description

This role leads talent acquisition strategy and delivery for Herbalife’s Southeast Operations, with primary focus on the Winston-Salem manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Southeast Operations talent acquisition strategy for Winston-Salem and assigned distribution locations in Memphis, Hagerstown, and Dallas, aligning hiring plans to business priorities, workforce forecasts, and site growth needs.
  • Lead and develop a recruiting team by setting priorities, balancing workloads, providing coaching, and building recruiting capability to deliver responsive, high-quality recruiting across the region.
  • Manage end-to-end recruiting for operations, manufacturing, distribution, technical, professional, and leadership roles, covering intake and sourcing through selection, offer, and onboarding partnership.
  • Build trusted relationships with plant leaders, distribution center leaders, hiring managers, HRBPs, and HR Operations to identify workforce needs, strengthen hiring-manager accountability, and remove recruiting barriers quickly.
  • Create proactive sourcing and talent-pipeline strategies informed by local labor-market conditions, including community partnerships, job boards, social media, referral programs, recruiting events, and targeted campaigns.
  • Oversee external staffing agencies and other talent partners, including performance expectations, service-level management, candidate quality, spend stewardship, and value assessment.
  • Drive recruiting operational excellence using standardized processes, effective ATS utilization, KPI reporting, improvements to candidate experience, and continuous identification and resolution of process bottlenecks.
  • Support employer-brand and inclusive recruiting across Southeast Operations by partnering with internal stakeholders on localized attraction strategies and workforce-development, college, or community partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree and/or relevant professional certification, including SHRM, HRCI, or another talent acquisition certification.
  • 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience, preferably in a large, complex, or multinational organization.
  • 3+ years people-leadership experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or a related function.
  • Experience supporting multiple sites, business units, or geographically dispersed stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing external staffing agencies, recruitment firms, and other third-party talent partners.
  • Demonstrated ability using recruiting metrics, workforce data, and labor-market insights to improve delivery, guide workforce plans, and address recruiting challenges.
  • Deep knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategy, candidate assessment methods, talent pipelining, and employer-branding practices.
  • Strong recruiting operations knowledge, including requisition intake, selection and offer processes, onboarding handoffs, candidate experience, and compliance with established hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive recruiting and building broad, relevant talent pipelines.

Team Dynamics

  • Southeast Operations Talent Acquisition team is collaborative, fast-paced, and business-focused, supporting a network of manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Based in Winston-Salem; leads recruiting for the largest manufacturing facility, partnering with distribution stakeholders in Memphis, Hagerstown, and Dallas.
  • Role requires a visible, hands-on leader who builds strong relationships with site leadership, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and external staffing partners.
  • Team culture emphasizes ownership, collaboration, urgency, continuous improvement, and delivering a positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.

Leadership and Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly lead, coach, and develop 2 Talent Acquisition professionals supporting Southeast Operations recruitment.
  • Set team priorities, requisition assignments, capacity plans, performance expectations, and operating rhythms across Winston-Salem, Memphis, Hagerstown, and Dallas.
  • Provide ongoing development in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategy, stakeholder management, candidate experience, and effective ATS use.
  • Maintain a high-accountability, collaborative, service-oriented team culture aligned to regional hiring needs.
  • Manage external staffing agencies and recruitment firms, including vendor selection, service-level expectations, performance reviews, candidate quality, process compliance, and spend management.
  • Partner with plant and distribution center leaders, hiring managers, HRBPs, and HR Operations to forecast talent needs, address hiring risks, and remove execution barriers.
  • Serve as the Talent Acquisition subject-matter expert for assigned Southeast Operations locations and contribute to enterprise-wide TA processes, tools, standards, and initiatives.
