Job Description

GE Vernova seeks an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to deliver strategic recruitment support across the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced sourcing methods to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
  • Screen for technical proficiency, cultural alignment, and leadership potential; provide strategic input on candidate selection.
  • Coach and mentor junior recruiters on sophisticated sourcing and screening techniques.
  • Present a compelling opportunity aligned with the candidate’s career motivations.
  • Ensure an inclusive, equitable recruitment process that delivers a positive candidate experience.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by sharing content on social channels and promoting the GEV talent brand.
  • Establish GEV presence in targeted channels to craft candidate engagement strategies and build pipelines for hard to fill roles.
  • Utilize recruitment data and market insights to refine strategies, offering actionable recommendations for process optimization and influencing stakeholders in response to market trends and talent availability.
  • Manage and advise on end-to-end recruitment for roles of varying complexity, providing insights to hiring managers and people leaders.
  • Lead complex offer negotiations with candidates and guide stakeholders on compensation benchmarks.
  • Oversee candidate and requisition lifecycle in the ATS with high accuracy and timeliness to ensure data integrity for reporting.
  • Apply Lean principles to daily work, identify opportunities to optimize processes, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in projects and adopt best practices in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Five or more years of extensive recruitment experience, including sourcing, screening, managing complex offers, and stakeholder advisory roles.
  • Proven expertise recruiting for Software Development, Design Engineering, and electrical/mechanical engineering roles.
  • At least two years of experience recruiting within Gas Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy companies.
  • Experience with TA tools such as Workday or other ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, Tableau, and AI tools (for example ChatGPT).
  • Advanced sourcing strategies with a focus on passive candidate engagement.
  • Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence hiring strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with senior leaders to shape recruitment strategies.
  • Proven negotiation capabilities with candidates and hiring managers; able to lead complex offer discussions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience advising senior leadership.
  • Experience in both corporate and agency recruiting environments is preferred.
