Job Description

Talent Acquisition Recruiter responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for TechnoGuard Incorporated in Sterling, VA (hybrid).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end staffing for designated roles, from posting the vacancy to offer, acceptance, and new-hire onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to capture staffing needs, define role specs and timelines, and craft clear, compelling job postings.
  • Proactively identify and screen candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and social media.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial assessments, and qualify candidates to advance top contenders.
  • Navigate candidate data in Paycom, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates.
  • Schedule interviews with managers and panels, coordinate logistics, and perform follow-up as needed.
  • Maintain interview data, feedback, and recruitment metrics across the hiring process.
  • Provide timely, professional communications to candidates and hiring managers to foster a consistent candidate experience.
  • Arrange start dates, onboarding timelines, and orientation logistics with HR, training, and operations.
  • Lead new hire onboarding and verify completion of all pre-employment and onboarding documentation.
  • Support workforce planning by partnering with training and scheduling to meet field staffing and headcount needs.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date recruitment and employee documentation per policy and compliance.
  • Attend weekly stand-ups, trainings, hiring meetings, and other HR or business meetings as required.
  • Plan and participate in hiring events, job fairs, and employer branding activities as needed.
  • Support HR with special projects, reporting, and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Keep up to date with talent acquisition trends, sourcing strategies, and best practices to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Stay informed on employment, background, recruiting, and related compliance regulations across TechnoGuard operating states.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in recruiting and hiring.
  • Experience supporting recruitment or HR functions within construction, field services, manufacturing, or similar operational environments is preferred.
  • Hands-on with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; Paycom experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with online sourcing platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and collaborating with candidates and hiring managers via video tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple requisitions and priorities independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability, with the ability to meet hiring timelines and adapt to evolving staffing needs.

  • TechnoGuard’s employer brand is positively represented at events, in postings, and in candidate interactions.

What you'll get

  • Salary range: $65,000 to $85,000 USD annually, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

Additional expectation

  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including extended sitting or standing, computer use, verbal and written communication, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Some travel required, less than 20% of the time.
