Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Job Description
Alorica is hiring a Talent Acquisition Recruiter in Miami Lakes, FL (onsite) to support high-volume external recruiting and hiring compliance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with line managers to develop external, high-volume recruiting methods and procedures aligned to business needs
- Oversee end-to-end external hiring activities: candidate identification, interviewing/screening, selection, and placement
- Align recruiting strategy, methodology, and processes with talent strategy and desired employee capabilities/skills
- May help design and place employment advertising
- Manage relationships with outside employment agencies and external recruiters
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with all applicable legal requirements
- Coordinate with corporate and site operations to ensure recruiting needs match recruiting strategy
- Partner with corporate and site managers to obtain and confirm search requests, including responsibilities, requirements, environmental conditions, compensation, and target audience timeframes
- Conduct targeted research for qualified candidates using internal databases, job boards, schools, professional associations, business contacts, and conversations with research personnel
- Serve as the recruiting liaison for company-sponsored committees and initiatives, including college recruitment programs
- Research, assemble, analyze, and recommend recruiting metrics
- Interview and screen candidates to confirm qualifications for open roles
- Perform skills testing and conduct office interviews to evaluate capability and aptitude
- Oversee pre-employment requirements, including background investigations (reference checks), drug testing, and physical exams, to support compliance and applicant tracking flow/records maintenance
- Complete the hiring process by drafting and obtaining sign-off on offer letters
- Present opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate offers for the most qualified candidate(s)
- May provide functional guidance, advice, and/or training to less-experienced recruiting staff
- Collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
- Build and maintain a qualified candidate pool ahead of hiring needs
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Develop networks to reach qualified passive candidates
- Post openings through appropriate channels, including newspaper advertisements and professional organizations, plus other suitable venues
- Post roles to relevant internet sources
- Improve the company website recruiting page to support recruiting efforts
- Research new ways to use the internet for recruitment
- Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of recruiting experience
- Ability to organize and effectively manage an office environment
- Experience using general office equipment, including computer software (MS Office), telephone, and calculator
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to keep and maintain confidential and secure records and information
