Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist

The Smilist is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Great Neck, NY, with a hybrid work setup. This role concentrates on identifying and engaging passive candidates for clinical roles, including doctors and registered dental hygienists, to build a durable talent pipeline and support recruiters in maintaining a steady flow of qualified talent.

Responsibilities

• Source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social channels, networking, referrals, and additional sourcing tools.
• Develop and sustain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Work closely with recruiters and hiring teams to grasp position requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
• Initiate outreach to prospective candidates via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Generate candidate interest and coordinate introductions with recruiters.
• Track sourcing activity and maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Continuously explore new sourcing strategies, talent pools, and market trends.
• Assist with talent mapping and competitive intelligence initiatives.
• Support employer branding through candidate engagement and networking efforts.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or headhunting.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates is required.
• Experience in the dental or broader healthcare field is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ATS, and other sourcing platforms.
• Strong research, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Salary: $65,000/year
