Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Marsh McLennan Agency, you will partner with business leaders to drive strategic recruitment, shape talent strategies, and attract, engage, and retain top talent to support organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities from intake through onboarding, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leaders to assess workforce needs and craft effective recruitment strategies.
- Identify and engage both passive and active candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, and additional channels.
- Assess candidates through interviews and evaluations to gauge qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Offer consultative guidance to hiring managers on market trends, compensation benchmarks, candidate availability, and hiring best practices.
- Foster a positive candidate experience through clear communication and a smooth recruitment process.
- Work with HR and business leaders to craft competitive offers and enable successful hires.
- Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and support data-driven decisions.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by applying inclusive sourcing and selection practices.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting procedures.
- Participate in employer branding efforts, workforce planning, internship programs, and strategic talent initiatives.
Requirements
- Five or more years of recruiting experience, ideally within professional services, insurance, consulting, or financial services.
- Previous experience at a recruiting or staffing agency, executive search firm, or talent solutions provider with proven success sourcing and placing professional-level talent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple requisitions concurrently.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated multitasking capabilities with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and hiring needs.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of working independently and owning recruiting initiatives.
- Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships and partners effectively across Human Resources and business functions.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Workday or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with recruiting metrics, reporting, and talent analytics.
