Job Description

National Jewish Health is seeking a relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt clinical and healthcare roles. This onsite position in Denver, CO partners closely with hiring managers to shape recruitment strategies, build talent pipelines, and guide candidates through every stage of the hiring process.

You will use recruiting data and market insights to support workforce planning and continuous improvement, while promoting National Jewish Health as an employer of choice through networking, recruitment outreach, and participation in industry and educational hiring events.

What you will do

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for clinical and healthcare-related positions, from sourcing through offer and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, interview plans, and selection processes.
  • Build talent pipelines using sourcing, networking, community outreach, and professional partnerships, including engagement of active and passive candidates.
  • Use recruiting data, market insights, and hiring trends to inform workforce planning and recommend process improvements.
  • Manage candidate post-selection steps, including offer delivery and negotiation, background check review, pre-employment requirements, onboarding coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications against position requirements and support consistent hiring with skills-based and behavioral interviews.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records in ATS and HRIS, and track hiring activity and trends.
  • Promote National Jewish Health through recruitment marketing initiatives, professional networking, and participation in industry, educational, and hiring events.
  • Stay current on labor market conditions and industry trends.

Additional responsibilities

  • Support onboarding activities and new hire transition processes, ensuring required documentation and compliance requirements are completed.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 4 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience required.
  • Experience in a healthcare or academic setting preferred.

Compensation & location

Denver, CO (onsite)

$77,572 - $102,583 per year

Travel: up to 10%
