Talent Acquisition Specialist, Contractor

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contractor) will support hiring across Check Point’s business through the sourcing, recruiting, and referral of qualified candidates across the U.S., Canada, and Latin American markets. This onsite role in Irving, TX focuses on day-to-day talent acquisition execution, reporting, and compliance.

Role Overview

In this contract position, you will manage end-to-end recruiting activity for open roles by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, checking references, and referring applicants to hiring managers. You will also build and apply sourcing strategies, ensure employment efforts follow applicable legal requirements and company policies, and maintain recruiting activity reporting within the Applicant Tracking System, Smart Recruiters.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, interview, check references, and refer applicants for open positions across Check Point’s U.S., Canada, and Latin American business.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using external websites.
• Identify and attract talented employees; interview and pre-qualify candidates for referral to hiring managers.
• Ensure employment activities comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain recruiting activity reports in Smart Recruiters (Applicant Tracking System).

Required Qualifications

• Experience handling high call volume, sourcing passive candidates, and providing excellent communication.
• 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with preference for IT sales recruiting experience.
• High energy, highly motivated, and self-directed approach in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to partner with team members to support multiple recruiting programs.
• Strong attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a dynamic team environment with competing demands.
• Capacity to manage multiple work streams and priorities at the same time.
• Strong software skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, Copilot, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is an advantage.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.
