Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter
Job Description
In-Telecom seeks an energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the full recruitment cycle within a dynamic MSP environment in Louisiana. This onsite role centers on attracting technical and professional talent, guiding candidates from first contact through onboarding, and delivering a seamless candidate experience for a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage job postings across multiple platforms and track applicant stages within Pinpoint to keep the hiring pipeline organized and efficient.
- Conduct initial phone or video pre-screen interviews to evaluate candidates’ technical aptitude, communication skills, and cultural alignment.
- Proactively source and engage qualified candidates for technical roles (Helpdesk, Network Engineers, Systems Admins) and administrative positions.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs, refine job descriptions, and align on hiring timelines.
- Initiate and manage pre-employment background checks and drug screenings in a timely and compliant manner.
- Coordinate travel logistics (flights, hotels, transportation) for out-of-town candidates or new hires attending in-person interviews or orientation.
- Drive a smooth onboarding experience by preparing custom welcome kits and co-facilitating new hire orientation sessions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for applicants, providing timely updates, interview feedback, and offer details.
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills; able to quickly build rapport with candidates and staff.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple open requisitions, candidate schedules, and onboarding logistics simultaneously.
- Self-driven with initiative and autonomy, motivated to meet hiring deadlines and solve problems independently.
- Creative mindset for sourcing talent, crafting engaging candidate communications, and enhancing the new-hire experience.
- Positive, energetic attitude reflecting the company culture in daily interactions with candidates.
- Tech-savvy across PC programs, applicant tracking systems (Pinpoint experience a plus), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and modern productivity tools.
- 1–3+ years of recruiting or HR support experience, ideally within an IT, tech, or MSP environment.
