Travel Recruiter

GMS Mine Repair & Maintenance is seeking a Travel Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for traveling professionals across mining projects, supporting both candidate experience and compliant talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for travel-based mining roles using recruiting tools and platforms
• Lead full-cycle recruitment from job posting through offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless candidate experience
• Create and execute targeted sourcing strategies using social media marketing (recruitment), talent management software, and research
• Build and maintain relationships with internal hiring managers, external agencies, and potential candidates through effective communication and relationship management
• Ensure hiring activities align with HR legal requirements, employment law in talent management, and company policies
• Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever or iCIMS to track candidates and produce recruitment reports
• Coordinate employee orientation sessions for new hires to support onboarding into the organization

Requirements

• Proven recruiting experience, with preference for technical recruiting or executive recruiting in mining or heavy industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage candidates effectively
• Familiarity with talent management software such as Workday, SAP PeopleSoft, or UltiPro (preferred)
• Knowledge of employment & labor law applicable to talent acquisition practices globally
• Ability to conduct cold calls and lead generation activities to attract qualified candidates
• Experience with social media management (recruitment) and HRIS systems such as Salesforce or ADP for sourcing and candidate data management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
