Associate Recruiter - TIP/TDP Portfolio School

Capital One is expanding its Students & Grads Talent Acquisition team within the TIP/TDP Portfolio School and is hiring an Associate Recruiter based in McLean, VA (onsite). In this role, you will manage full life-cycle recruiting, use innovative sourcing methods to identify strong candidates, and partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders while sharing candidate status updates through recruiting data.

This position supports strategic hiring efforts across a team of recruiters and contributes to ongoing recruitment initiatives, including ad-hoc projects. The role also involves working with high-volume candidate pipelines and ensuring timely, precise tracking of recruiting activity.

What You’ll Do

• Own full life-cycle recruiting, including planning, sourcing, coordinating, and executing each stage of the recruitment process
• Manage candidate communications with strong organization, attention to detail, and clear, effective messaging
• Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads to understand unique talent needs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with a team of high performing recruiters
• Support strategic initiatives and hiring strategy by working with business partners
• Use recruiting data to provide proactive status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners
• Source candidates using approaches beyond direct applications, leveraging search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques
• Build relationships with candidates in a high-volume environment, understand candidate interest and passion, and direct them to the right role or opportunity
• Track high-volume candidate information in real-time with precision
• Contribute to ad-hoc recruitment projects

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, human resources, client consulting, or a combination of these

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, client consulting, or a combination of these
• Experience in Campus Recruiting or Programs

Compensation

• McLean, VA: $81,700 - $93,300 per year
• Richmond, VA (listed minimum and maximum for this role): $74,200 - $84,700 per year
