Job Description
GXO Logistics is seeking a Driver Recruiter to source, screen, interview, and hire CDL and non-CDL drivers. In this high-volume role, you will recruit across multiple GXO locations, build proactive talent pipelines, and collaborate with Operations and HR to align staffing with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Recruit for CDL and non-CDL driver positions across multiple GXO locations
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified driver candidates to support current and future hiring needs
- Utilize sourcing tools, job boards, social media, referral networks, and direct outreach techniques to identify qualified candidates
- Build relationships with drivers and create positive candidate experiences throughout the hiring process
- Partner closely with Operations, HR, Compliance, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
- Coordinate and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of recruiting processes and associated documentation
- Represent GXO at hiring events, job fairs, community events, and transportation industry networking opportunities
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process
- Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
- Monitor open requisitions and proactively identify opportunities to improve hiring speed and candidate flow
- Assist in developing recruiting campaigns and sourcing strategies to support hard-to-fill locations and positions
- Utilize recruiting metrics and reports to help drive hiring effectiveness and process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of progressively responsible experience in HR, employment, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting or staffing initiatives
- Experience sourcing candidates using job boards, social media, networking, or other recruiting tools
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

It would be great if you also have
- 2 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, employment, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
- Experience recruiting CDL drivers, transportation professionals, logistics employees, or other operations talent
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and CRM tools
- Knowledge of transportation, trucking, logistics, or supply chain industries
- Experience with candidate sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, or similar tools
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hiring requirements
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting multi-site or high-volume recruiting environments
- Ability to analyze recruiting activity and use data to improve hiring outcomes
