Development Associate, Human Resources Organizational Development

The Development Associate supports Trustmark Bank’s Human Resources Development Program within the Organizational Development (OD) function. This onsite role in Jackson, MS contributes to OD interventions and talent and development programming, including assessment activities, career coaching support, and coordination of program schedules with HR, Training, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Talent Development Manager with OD interventions, including Team Effectiveness and Assessment Services, change management activities, and other interventions as needed.
• Perform, coordinate, and administer OD functions such as career counseling and coaching, 360 assessments, succession planning, and other activities identified by management.
• Support Trustmark development programs by coordinating program schedules and partnering with HR, Training, and related business units across programs including Emerging Talent, the Development Associate Program, Interns, Co-ops, and Technical Development Analyst, CRMA.

Required Qualifications

• Earned a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Human Resources with an emphasis in Organizational Development; minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Scheduled to graduate on or before May 2027.
• Prior experience with Excel, with the ability to learn Pivot tables and V-look ups.
• Detail oriented, organized, analytical, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects with a sense of urgency, confidentiality, adaptability to change, and innovation; tech savvy and results oriented.
• Internship or prior work experience is a plus.
• Enthusiasm and genuine interest in developing a career with Trustmark and in the financial industry.
