Director of Human Resources

Atherton Park Post Acute in Menlo Park, CA is hiring a Director of Human Resources to support a strong, compliant people strategy. This full-time, onsite role is central to managing the employee experience from hiring through retirement, while partnering with senior leadership to reduce risk and keep HR operations aligned with labor law requirements.

What you’ll bring

• Strong experience managing the full employee life cycle, from recruitment to retirement
• Knowledge to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Experience handling payroll
• Ability to lead employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
• Capability to run employee evaluations and support performance management processes
• Experience collaborating with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
• Leadership experience supervising HR staff and providing guidance and support
• Comfort working closely with the Administrator to manage and mitigate risk

Skilled nursing experience is recommended.

Core responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full employee life cycle, from recruitment to retirement

• Own payroll operations
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
• Conduct employee evaluations and support performance management processes
• Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals

• Work closely with the Administrator to manage and mitigate risk

Compensation and schedule

$80,000 per year (from $80,000.00 per year) and full-time employment.

Location and relocation

This position is in person in Menlo Park, CA 94025. Relocate before starting work (Required).
